PGEC Notification 2012 for M.Tech, M.Pharm through GATE and GPAT

Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions (PGEC) 2012 notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of Osmania University. Admission to Post Graduate courses such as M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./M.Arch./ M.Planning / Graduate levle Pharm .D. (Full Time) in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012- 2013 will be conducted through PGEC 2012 Notification. Candidates qualified in GATE and GPAT examinations can apply for these courses. Seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE and GPAT candidates will be filled based on the ranks of PGECET 2012. Following are details of programs and application procedure:

Eligibility: Students those appeared and qualified in GATE 2012 and GPAT 2011 entrance tests are eligible to apply. Candidates have to pay Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, APSCHE’ and payable at Hyderabad.

Interested candidates can download application forms from PGEC 2011 website www.apschepgec.net. You an also download detailed instructions for filling ICR Application form.

    • The Schedule has not been released yet and will update as soon as it is announced. There is plenty of misleading info on the web as informed by some candidates here. Do not believe them and wait for the official notification.

Hi yamini.this is kavitha..i wanna do mtech in universities(ap) ..so applied for pgec admissions..can you tell me that the best universities(or university colleges) which offers mtech in VLSI,COMMUNICATIONS specilizations..please tell me this information..and i didnt get any acknowledge card for pgec admissions…please ..this is mail id:kavitha4438@gmail.com

    i missed the pgec application dates for dat reason i met secretary of apsche, sir said the counscelling may be at august 2ng week. so guys keep on going check official site of pgec2011. all de best

    Now Frens If u observe onething..The Eamcet Councelling is like this 28-07-2011 to 03-08-2011 certificate verification and 31-07-2011 to 09-08-2011 choice filling…
    As this Councelling is also conducted by APSCHE..,It is clear that after the Eamcet councelling only the PGEC councelling will start..so the councelling will be in the month of august itself..or in the month of september…
    And the PGECET councelling will be only after the Gate/Gpat councelling is finished..

    Please dont BELIEVE any of the dates,untill OU releases the schedule nad I am going to post it here as soon as they are released..Last year ie in 2010..Councelling dates are linke this..
    PGECET 2010 Counselling Schedule:

    28 .10. 2010: For CS, ST Programs: GATE and PGECET Qualified
    29.10. 2010: For PY, EE and CE Programs: GATE and PGECET Qualified
    30. 10. 2010: For EC, ME, DS and CH Programs: GATE and PGECET Qualified

    Schedule for Options Entry:

    29. 10. 2010: CS, ST Programs: All Ranks
    30. 10. 2010: PY, EE and CE Programs: All Ranks
    31 . 10. 2010: EC, ME, DS, CH and other PG Programs: All Ranks

    These dates were posted in some sites by changing the year..so dont believe them..If these are the real dates(which are wrong for maximum),we cant do anything but to wait..so better not to believe..

    Any one who is nearer to OU or a local candidate in hyderabad can contact the officials there and post some imptnt information here..

    • Yes Ravikiran. You are right. Just changing the old years will create so much confusion and unnecessary tension in the candidates. Better to keep away from those sites.
