Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions (PGEC) 2012 notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of Osmania University. Admission to Post Graduate courses such as M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./M.Arch./ M.Planning / Graduate levle Pharm .D. (Full Time) in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012- 2013 will be conducted through PGEC 2012 Notification. Candidates qualified in GATE and GPAT examinations can apply for these courses. Seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE and GPAT candidates will be filled based on the ranks of PGECET 2012. Following are details of programs and application procedure:
Eligibility: Students those appeared and qualified in GATE 2012 and GPAT 2011 entrance tests are eligible to apply. Candidates have to pay Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, APSCHE’ and payable at Hyderabad.
Interested candidates can download application forms from PGEC 2011 website www.apschepgec.net. You an also download detailed instructions for filling ICR Application form.

The extension date is only for those candidates who have submitted a letter to the mam in ou…,others applications may not be considered.
This is wrong anyone can apply who did not apply before
And as far as i know..The councelling dates will be informed through news papar or on the website:www.apschepgec.net.most probably the dates of councelling will be at the end of August(ie 8th month)or early dates of august and the aknowledgement may or may not be send and the candidates should come according to their ranks..and mostly the councelling is manual process.

Frens The PGEC applications are being accepted.And they will accept the applications for the last time with an extension of date and increasing the fine another 500rs/-.
They will accept till monday the next week..ie.:18-07-2011.and after that it is highly impossible for accepting the applications soo please hurry up.it is better to submit in person.dont send by post.Even though there are any indiscipline activities are going on OU.,dont hesitate to go if u want admission.So please go and submit applications.
Details of fee:u need to take amont of 1225/-(1000 Fine +225 for reservation candidates)or 1425(1000 fine +425 others) as per the dd details.

Some people are saying that the applications are being accepted till 18th July with a late fee. But the there is no mention of extension of last date on the official PGEC website.
