Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions (PGEC) 2012 notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of Osmania University. Admission to Post Graduate courses such as M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./M.Arch./ M.Planning / Graduate levle Pharm .D. (Full Time) in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012- 2013 will be conducted through PGEC 2012 Notification. Candidates qualified in GATE and GPAT examinations can apply for these courses. Seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE and GPAT candidates will be filled based on the ranks of PGECET 2012. Following are details of programs and application procedure:
Eligibility: Students those appeared and qualified in GATE 2012 and GPAT 2011 entrance tests are eligible to apply. Candidates have to pay Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, APSCHE’ and payable at Hyderabad.
Interested candidates can download application forms from PGEC 2011 website www.apschepgec.net. You an also download detailed instructions for filling ICR Application form.

Here is some imptnt info that hav seen in the newspaper.
PGECET applied cadidates are—–42,719
of these cadidates
PGECET eligible cadidates are—–36,213
of these eligible cadidates
Mpharm cadidates are—–11,210
and the remaining are M tech cadidates.
Gate candidates are——5413
now coming to colleges adn seats.
1.M tech offering colleges are 351 and the seats are 24,032.
2.M pharm offering colleges are 220 and the seats are 8493.

the detailed notification is not released yet..it may release in a day or two days..so please check the paper daily..
The councelling dates has been released today by APSCHE..
1.sept 5 and 6th Gate and Gpat councelling will be conducted.and the allotment will be given on 8th sept.
2.sept 9 to 13 pgecet councelling will be conducted.and the allotment will be given on 14th and 115 sept.
The councelling will be webcouncelling for all candidates.
Guys..
someone is telling that no need of the acknowledgment cards and no one lastyear also they didnt get their asknowledments..so my humble request is contact OU and ask them abt the asknowledgemnt and if any one knows the correct information only post them here and wil help the remaining cadidates.
And also the main schedule is yet to be released..For the time being they hav just announced the dates of the councelling and the complete schedule will be release in a day or two.

The news reports suggests that GATE candidates are not eligible for fee reimbursement scheme. Its better to wait till the notification comes out for clarity on this issue.

2.For private colleges 57000/Year.
if student qualified in gate..student wil provide styfund orfee reimbusment..we have only one option 2 choose..
