PGEC Notification 2012 for M.Tech, M.Pharm through GATE and GPAT

Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions (PGEC) 2012 notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of Osmania University. Admission to Post Graduate courses such as M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./M.Arch./ M.Planning / Graduate levle Pharm .D. (Full Time) in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012- 2013 will be conducted through PGEC 2012 Notification. Candidates qualified in GATE and GPAT examinations can apply for these courses. Seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE and GPAT candidates will be filled based on the ranks of PGECET 2012. Following are details of programs and application procedure:

Eligibility: Students those appeared and qualified in GATE 2012 and GPAT 2011 entrance tests are eligible to apply. Candidates have to pay Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, APSCHE’ and payable at Hyderabad.

Interested candidates can download application forms from PGEC 2011 website www.apschepgec.net. You an also download detailed instructions for filling ICR Application form.

    KUDOS for the great work you have been doing so far.
    I have applied for PGEC 2011.In the process of getting ready for the counselling,I have lost few of my imp. certificates and am sad that I may not be able to get those in time.So can u plz inform me if I’ll be able to appear for d counselling by submitting xerox copies and try to submit originals at a later date.Plz reply to ths as dis is an imp issue.
    Also,plz inform me of the counselling dates as I am unable to get any news frm d newspapers

    • Usually they will allow if the reasons are legit. Mostly it depends on the nature of certificate. If you lost highly important certificates like SSC / Mark Sheets, the official may not accept it. Even if they allow initially, you may face problems later if you do not able submit them before the given deadline.

  3. hii sir, i have qualified in gate2010… but i didn’t apply for PGEC counseling… the last date is completed… is there any re-notification for this…..please give reply….it is very important for me…

      who dint apply for pgec 2011,
      go with application(late fee 1450/- DD) direct to the osmania campus, ece department,
      give it to the clerk and take acknowledgement card there itself,
      I got my acknowledgement card today,
      so go and contact there

    Our counceling will be start form 2nd september..and the schedule will be released on 25th of this month..I have seen this news in AndhraJyothi todays paper..

    no need to worry, last year also people who sent pgec application through post didnot get acknowledgement card. Hope this would be correct, to clarify consult the convenor of pgec.
