Post-Graduate Engineering Common Admissions (PGEC) 2012 notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of Osmania University. Admission to Post Graduate courses such as M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./M.Arch./ M.Planning / Graduate levle Pharm .D. (Full Time) in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012- 2013 will be conducted through PGEC 2012 Notification. Candidates qualified in GATE and GPAT examinations can apply for these courses. Seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE and GPAT candidates will be filled based on the ranks of PGECET 2012. Following are details of programs and application procedure:
Eligibility: Students those appeared and qualified in GATE 2012 and GPAT 2011 entrance tests are eligible to apply. Candidates have to pay Rs. 450/- (Rs. 225/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, APSCHE’ and payable at Hyderabad.
Interested candidates can download application forms from PGEC 2011 website www.apschepgec.net. You an also download detailed instructions for filling ICR Application form.

Hi,
There may be vacant seats in number of colleges after the PGEC counseling is finished. You can try for management / NRI quota seats. OR you have to wait for next year’s notification while working somewhere till then.

GATE is conducted by IITs at national level and PGEC by APSCHE / Osmania University at state level. How is it possible to mention about PGEC in GATE Brochure?

if you mention about the councelling in gate for universities and private colleges is through applying for pgec in osmania.then why cannot u mention it in gate broucher by co operation of them.it will help us knwing that we have to apply for pgec for attending gate councelling for private and universities.

I applied to PGEC 2011 on august 1 and sent by post and it would have reached on aug 3. I got curious whether it is processed or not. So I went to OU campus, ECE Dept and contacted the clerk there on aug 20. While I was talking to him, three students came there and submitted the filled in application form, a DD of 1450/- and the relevant documents. They have accepted and gave the acknowledgement card. So I request you to reach OU campus and do the same. Quick!
