Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi shall conduct All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2011. This entrance examination is for the purpose of filling up of 15 percent merit seats in Medical / Dental Colleges of India. The state of Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh are not part of this exam. Medical and Dental colleges of all other states shall keep 15 percent seats for AIPMT 2011 candidates. The AIPMT consist of Preliminary and Main Examinations to be conducted on different dates. Following are other details.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates with Higher / Senior Secondary Examination OR Indian School Certificate Examination / 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology along with English as a core course are eligible. You should have secured at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination. Age must be above 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year. Upper age relaxations applicable as per rules of the government.

You can apply either online or offline. Interested candidates can apply online through www.aipmt.nic.in. You can also download application/ information bulletin from the official website of AIPMT www.aipmt.nic.in. You need to pay the fee Rs. 700 (Rs. 350 for SC/ ST candidates) before proceeding to apply online. Offline applications are available at designated branches of Canara Bank across the country. Filled in forms / confirmation page should reach ‘The Deputy Secretary (AIPMT Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi 110 301’ on or before 7th January 2011.

All India Management Association (AIMA) shall conduct Management Aptitude Test during February 2011 for Admission to MBA and PGDM courses in various B-Schools across the country. AIMA MAT will be held both in Paper mode and Computer Based test. Candidates can choose any one of these tests. Interested candidates can register online through www.aima-ind.org/matfeb11 and shall pay the fee through credit card. Applications are also available at select branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank and AIMA Study Center. Following are other details:

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have passed in any graduation. Those appearing for final year examinations also can apply. Application fee for purchase of application at bank branches is Rs. 1200. Fee for online application OR cash payment at AIMA New Delhi is Rs. 1050. For online registration, you need to take a DD for Rs. 1050 in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi.

There are about 500 institutions across India taking MAT scores for short listing the candidates for admission to Management Programmes.
