EAMCET 2011 (Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test) Notification will be released by APSCHE on behalf of JNTU Hyderabad on 10th February 2011. The EAMCET 2011 will be conducted on 8th May 2011. Admission to Engineering, Pharmacy an Medical courses in Andhra Pradesh will be through EAMCET 2011 only. All Govt., Govt aided and private engineering colleges in AP admit student into B.Tech. / B.E, MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Pharma.D. course based on EAMCET 2011 Rankings. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have passed in Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) subjects. Those studied Biology in Intermediate are eligible for MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Agriculture and allied courses along with B.Tech Biotechnology in Engineering stream and Pharmacy Courses.

Courses in Engineering Stream: B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Pharm (M.P.C.) / B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) / B.Sc (CA and BM)/ B.Tech (Food Science and Technology) / B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) / Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy).

Medical and Agriculture and Stream: MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc.(Horticulture) / B.V.Sc. and A.H./ B.F.Sc. / B.Tech (Food Science and Technology) (Bi.P.C) / B.Sc (CA and BM)/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS/ B.Pharm (Bi.P.C.) / B.Sc (Commercial Agriculture and Business Management) (Bi.P.C) / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) / Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy).

Application Process for EAMCET 2011:

Interested candidates can apply online / offline methods. Candidates have to pay required fee before proceeding with online application process. You should pay the fee through secure.aponline.gov.in and log on to www.apeamcet.org to submit application. Filled forms should be sent to ‘Convener, EAMCET – 2011, Examination Building, Ground Floor, J.N.T. University, Hyderabad, Kukatpally – 500085’. AIC Young Media Fellowships 2011-12

Australia – India Council (AIC) has issued notification for the award of Young Media Fellowships for media professionals. AIC fellowships provide career development opportunities for young and energetic journalists from Print and TV media in India and expose them to the media condition in Australia. These fellowships are aimed at gaining richer experience of Australia and understanding the contemporary Australia. Following are other details:

The AIC will award three Fellowships in 2011. Under the Fellowships, AIC will grant a financial sum of AU $7,000 (approximately Rs. 3,15, 000) to cover international airfares, accommodation, domestic travel and other expenses in Australia. Those selected to the fellowships will have to spend three to four weeks in Australia. They will be involved in researching and writing stories for print and television media in India.
