National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya has announced notification inviting applications for admission intoM.Sc. Program for the academic year 2016-17.Programmes offered:
1) 2 Year M.Sc. in Mathematics: 16 SeatsEligibility: Candidates should have Mathematics or Statistics as Honours/ Major in B.Sc. with 60 percent marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in Honours/ Major in B.Sc degree.
2) 2 Year M.Sc. in Physics: 16 SeatsEligibility: Candidates need B.Sc Degree with Physics Honours/ major or Electronics Honours/ major with Physics minor. They must have secured at least 60 percent or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10).
3) 2 Year M.Sc. in Chemistry: 16 SeatsEligibility: Applicants must have Chemistry as Honours / Major in B.Scwith 60 percent marksor 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in Honours / Major in B.Sc.
Admission Procedure: Candidates will be selected through Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Institute. Last date for the submission of applications is 9 May 2016. Date of examination is 11 June 2016.
