National Book Trust has announced Yuva – Prime Ministers Mentorship scheme to encourage young writers in India. 75 writers from various languages will be selected for scholarship for 6 months. Following are details:
- Age: Should be below 30 years
- Language: Writings can be sent in 22 official languages and also in English
- Contest period: 01 June – 31 July 2021
- Stipend: Rs.50000 per month for 6 months
- Number of scholarships: 75
- Topics: Unsung heroes, freedom fighters and national movement.
