JEE Main 2017 Cut Off Marks, Expected Ranks and Key for All Codes

JEE Main 2017 offline examination has been conducted across the country on 2nd April 2017. There is mixed opinion on the difficulty level of the question paper. The expected cut off for the JEE Advanced exam is likely to be less than 100 marks for the total of 360.

There is no weightage to Intermediate / 10+2 marks in JEE Main and Advanced examinations from this year. Only marks in JEE will be considered for JEE Main rankings. About 12 lakhs candidates have appeared for JEE Main 2017 exam.

It was felt that the Physics questions were lengthy but easy compared to the previous JEE Main exams. Chemistry is also easy but Maths appears to be a bit difficult and could be a deciding section in the rankings.

Most of coaching experts have felt that the cut off marks for JEE Advanced will be around 100 – 105 marks. Whoever score high in Mathematics are likely to be shortlisted for JEE Advanced. Following is the key for JEE Main 2017 for Paper Codes A, B, C and D.

  1. interested in space technology,want to get admission but on the basis of 12th & CET exam,is it possible without IIT main?

    • Only a few institutions in India offer courses in space technology. IIST Thiruvananthapuram is one such institute. Most of the institutions offer admission based on JEE main or advanced exam scores only.
