Indian Law Institute Ph.D. Admissions 2012

Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi has issued admission notification for Ph.D. Programme to be commenced from January 2012. Indian Law Institute is a highly reputed legal training and research institute in India. Candidates with interest in legal aptitude and research can apply for this program. The Indian Law Institute was established in 1956 with the main objective of promoting and conducting legal research. The institute was granted deemed university status in 2004 by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Following are details of eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Eligibility requirements: Applicants should have obtained a Master’s Degree in law with at least 55 percent marks or its equivalent. Relaxations in marks apply for reserved candidates. Teachers with at least 5 years experience are also eligible and will be exempted 5 percent marks in the qualifying degree. The selection of the candidates will be through a written test to be conducted by the Institute on 10th December 2011. The test will be held at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. Candidates with UGC NET / JRF, SLET, and M. Phil qualifications will be exempted from admission test.
