Farmington University is Fake – 600 Telugu Students in US Visa Trap

In a dramatic development, about 600 ‘students’ from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are reeling under arrest and deportation threat in USA. All the students along with 8 middlemen were committed visa fraud in USA, as per the US department of Homeland Security.

Farmington University is fake:

US officials have created a fake university called Farmington University in Michigan State to trap foreign students staying in the USA without authorisation. Most of the Telugu students enrolled in this university.

The 8 persons who booked for conspiracy to commit visa fraud are Bharath Kakireddy of Lake Mary, Florida; Suresh Kandala of Virginia, Phanideep Karnati of Kentucky, Prem Rampeesa of North Carolina, Santosh Sama of California, Avinash Thakkallapally of Pennsylvania, Aswanth Nune of Atlanta and Naveen Prathipati of Dallas.

Enrolled in Curricular Practical Training (CPT):

The charge sheet of US officials has stated that these people have tried to enroll hundreds of students through student visa program called Curricular Practical Training (CPT) of Farmington University which allows the enrolled students to work in the USA.

This university was formed by US officials to trap unauthorised students. It was found that several hundreds of students were enrolled in Farmington University which has no classes, teaching, faculty etc. Most of these students are likely to be arrested and deported by US authorities.
