Delhi Government is offering various scholarships for SC, ST, OBC and Minority categories students. The scholarships are meant for higher studies. Candidates studying in NCT of Delhi are eligible for these scholarships. The scholarships are as follows:
1) Reimbursement of tuition fees to the SC / ST / OBC / Minority students of Class I to Class XII studying in recognised public / private schools in Delhi.
2) Financial Assistance for purchase of stationary to SC / ST / OBC / Minority category students studying in Class I to XII.
3) Scholarship / Merit Scholarship to the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC / Minority category students studying in Class I to Class XII.
4) Merit Scholarship for students belonging to SC / ST / OBC / Minority category students studying in professional / technical colleges / institutions / universities.
5) Pre Matric Scholarships for SC Students.
6) Post Matric Scholarships for SC Students.
7) Pre Matric Scholarships for OBC students.
8) Post Matric Scholarships for OBC students.
How to apply:
Candidates need to submit online applications from 1st December 2018. Last date for the submission of online applications through edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in is 28th February 2019.
All educational institutions are requested to extend their support to the students and guide them to apply for the scholarships. Colleges should ensure all the eligible students apply before last date. Details of eligibility, online application procedure, etc are available on www.scstwelfare.delhigovt.nic.in .
