The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced new date for the All India Pre Medical Test 2015 (AIPMT). The examination will be held on 25th July across the country except the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.
The Supreme Court earlier scrapped the AIPMT exam after several controversies on the malpractices. The court has directed the CBSE to conduct the fresh examination within 4 weeks. The CBSE has asked more time to conduct the exam for which the Supreme Court accepted.
The CBSE has decided to conduct fresh examination on 25th July 2015. About 15 percent of seats in all the medical colleges in India in MBBS courses will be filled through ranks in AIPMT examination.
The CBSE has conducted the previous exam a few months back and several students complained to the Supreme Court on the malpractices at some centers and undue favour for some candidates. The Court has taken up the case and cancelled the previous exam.
