KV Admissions for Class 1 to Class 10 for 2018-19 Online Application, Age and Selection Details

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan (KVS) has released admission notification for 1st Class, 2nd to 10th Class and Plus One (Class XI) for the academic year 2018-19. Online application process for all the courses will commence from 1st March and the same will close on 9th April 2018.

Application Procedure:

Candidates should apply online for 1st to 10th Class. For admission into Class XI, candidates need to contact the school after the announcement of results of Class X.

Online application process for Class I will start from 1st March and will close on 19th March 2018. For 2-10th Classes, online application process will start from 2nd April and the same will end on 9th April 2018.

Eligibility:

KVS follows uniform admission procedure and eligibility requirements across the country. KVS gives preference to the children of transferable central government employees. Children of state government employee and general public also can apply for admission. The preference will be given as per the norms.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test – 2018

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi (NVS) will conduct Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi (JNVs) Selection Test – 2018 for admission into class 6 in JNVs for the academic year 2018-19. The online applications will be available till 25th November 2017.

Number of seats:

There are 660 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. Out of these, 638 JNVs are functioning. Each JNV will have 80 students in 6th Class. These seats will be filled through entrance test.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be from the district where JNV is located only are eligible. Candidates should have born between 1st May 2015 and 30th April 2009.

A candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying Class VI for the academic session 2017-18 in a Government recognised school or its equivalent recognised organisation.

Selection Test:

The selection test of JNVs consists of following sections:

Mental Ability Test: 50 questions – 50 marks – 60 minutes.

Arithmetic Test: 25 questions – 25 marks – 30 minutes.

Language Test: 25 questions – 25 marks – 30 minutes. 

All the questions will be in objective multiple type pattern. There is no negative marking in JNV entrance test.
