KV Schools Class 10 and Class 12 Admission Procedure

Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) has announced admission notice for Class X and Class XII for the academic year 2018-19. Other than KV students also can apply for these classes in KVs. The same guidelines will be followed by KVs for a long time.

Availability of Seats:

Admissions to class X and Class XII, for other than KV students will be entertained subject to availability of seats in respective classes. Generally seats will be vacant in these classes as many parents / students prefer corporate colleges for JEE and NEET coaching along with Class XI and Class XII.

The admissions into Class X and XII will be considered by Deputy Commissioner of the KV Region only if the strength in class is below 40 students. Other conditions are as follows:

Guidelines:

The student should be in the same course of studies, in a CBSE affiliated school. For Class X, the student must have obtained at least 55 percent marks in Class IX. For admission to Class XII, at least 55 percent marks in class XI is mandatory. The combinations of the subjects chosen by the student must be available in KVs.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Class 9 Admissions for 2018-19

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced admission notification for Class IX during the academic year 2018-19. Jawahar Navodaya Schools are functioning under the aegis of ministry HRD, Govt. of India. There are 626 Jawahar Navodaya Schools spread over 28 states and 7 UTs.

Online applications:

Interested candidates may submit online applications from 1st March 2018 through www.nvshq.org . Last date for the submission of online applications is 5th April 2018.

Selection Test for admission to Class IX will be conducted on Saturday, 19th May 2018 at JNV of concerned district.

Eligibility:

Candidates who are presently studying or have studied Class 8 during 2017-18 in any recognised school of the district where JNV is located are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have born between 1st May 2002 and 30th April 2006. This is same for all categories of candidates. Selection Test will be in English / Hindi.

Scheme of Selection Test:

English: 15 Marks
Hindi: 15 Marks
Maths: 35 Marks
Science: 35 Marks
