University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued notification inviting applications for the award of Fellowships / Scholarships for the years 2016-17, 2017-18 as per the details given below. Candidates can apply online through UGC website www.ugc.ac.in .

L and T Build India Scholarship for M.Tech – 2016

Leading construction company L and T (Larsen and Toubro) Limited has announced L and T Build India Scholarship notification for the academic year starting from July 2016. The company will sponsor the selected candidates for M.Tech in Construction Technology and Management in the following institutions.

Institutions offering this course: IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, NIT Tiruchirapalli and NIT Karnataka.

Candidates with first class graduation in Civil / Electrical Engineering and who pass out in 2016 with at least 60 percent marks throughout academics are eligible. Age of the candidates should be below 23 years as on 1 July 2016.

Selection of the candidates is based on the performance in written examination and personal interviews conducted by IIT Madras, NIT Surathkal / Trichy. The selected candidates will get a scholarship of Rs. 13400 per month and tuition fee to IIT / NIT. Duration of the scholarship is two years.

Interested candidates can apply online in the format available on the website at www.lntecc.com within 15 days from 25th November 2015.
