Pre matric and Post matric Scholarships 2013 last dates extended

Good news for minority students. Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India has extended the last date for online registration for Pre-Matric Scholarships till October 15 and for Post-Matric and Merit cum Means Scholarship till October 10. The last dates have been extended as per the request of Andhra Pradesh government.

Union Minister for Minority Affaris has agreed to extend last dates after considering ongoing disturbances in Andhra Pradesh.

The Minister for minority affairs in Andhra Pradesh has earlier appealed to the student community to avail theopportunity and register their applications online.

Commonwealth Scholarship Program 2014

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has announced Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan 2014 to award fellowships for Post Graduate and Doctoral courses in Britain.

Number of fellowships: 65 (Masters Degree / Clinical Training Course – 39 and Ph.D. – 26)

Disciplines: Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology / Biochemical, Robotics, Civil, Material, Sciences, Agriculture, Humanities and Social Sciences etc.

Candidates should have Masters degree in the relevant discipline. Age should be below 40 years. Selection will be based on personal interviews.

Interested candidates can apply online through http://sakshat.ac.in/ . Last date for the submission of applications is 6 October 2013.
