ONGC Scholarships Notification 2013 for SC and ST Candidates

ONGC, India’s leading PSU oil company is inviting applications for the award of Scholarships for meritorious SC / ST students for the year 2013- 2014.

Number of Scholarships: 500
Eligibility: Applicant should be a student of 1st year of Graduate Engineering (BE / B.Tech) or MBBS courses or 1st year of Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics or MBA. The scholarship is available only for pursuing full time regular courses at any I.I.T / University / Institute recognized by the Govt. of India.

Upper age limit of the applicant is 30 years as on 1st October of the Academic Session of the year of advertisement.

UGC Merit scholarships for post Graduation 2013 – 2015

University Grants Commission ( UGC ) has announced post graduate merit scholarships scheme for university rank holders for the academic year 2013 – 2015. The scholarships will be awarded to candidates from non professional courses background.

Disciplines: Life sciences, physical sciences, mathematical sciences, earth sciences, social sciences, languages and commerce.

Number of scholarships: 3000
Duration of the scholarships: 2 years
qualifications: Applicants should have graduation in relevant discipline and must be first or second rank holders. They should have minimum 60 percent marks.

Interested candidates can apply online through the website at www.ugc.ac.in . Last date for the submission of filled in applications is yet to be announced. Age should be below 30 years.
