Central Sector Scholarship Scheme – 2014 for UG and PG Courses

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), HQ Delhi has issued notification inviting Online applications for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2014 for College and University Students.

Scholarship Name: Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students.
Eligibility: Students with above 80th percentile of marks in the relevant stream for a particular Board of Examination, in class XII of 10 + 2 pattern or equivalent are eligible to apply.

Application Procedure: You can apply online. Printout of online application form bearing Registration No. and other copies of documents have to be sent to Assistant Secretary (Scholarship), 7th Floor, CBSE, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi.

Last date for the receipt of online applications is 15 September 2014
Last date for the submission of hard copy of the application is 30 September 2014.

CBSE Central Sector Scholarship Scheme 2014-15

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the award of financial assistance through Central Sector Scholarship Scheme 2014. Candidates have to apply online only through CBSE website cbse.nic.in . Following are more details of CSSS 2014.

Eligibility: The scholarships are aimed at providing financial help for the college and University students pursuing higher education. The distribution of scholarships for Science, Commerce and Humanities streams is 3:2:1.

The selection of the students for these scholarships will be based on the merit in senior secondary examinations. Total number of scholarships are 82000 per annum. These are equally distributed for boys and girl students.

Students with above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the concerned stream are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1000 per month at Graduation and Rs. 2000 per month for University level courses.

Interested candidates may apply for the scholarships through CBSE website. Last date for the online submission of applications is 15 September 2014. Closing date for the receipt of printed copies of applications is 30th September 2014.
