Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme 2014-15

The Government of India has announced Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme for Dependent Wards / Widows of Ex Servicemen and ex Indian Coast Guard Personnel.

Qualifications: Applicants should have taken admission in 2014 only eligible to apply for PMSS 2014-15. They should have scored 60 percent and above in 10 + 2/ Diploma/ Graduation examinations.

Students who are Dependent Wards/ Widows of Ex Servicemen and Ex Coast Guard personnel who died in harness/ disabled due to causes attributable to military service/ coast guard service, irrespective of the rank are eligible.

Application procedure: Applications have to be forwarded on plain A4 size paper in the prescribed format duly completed in all respects with superscription on the envelope Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for the Academic Year 2014-15.

ONGC Scholarships for Meritorious SC and ST Candidates 2014

ONGC is offering Scholarships for Meritorious SC / ST Students pursuing professional courses in Engineering, Medical Stream and Masters Degree Course in Business Administration, Geology and Geophysics.

Stream : Engineering, NBBS, MBA, Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics.

Eligibility : 1. Applicants should be a student of 1st year of Graduate Engineering / MBBS courses / 1st year of Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics / MBA. The scholarships will be admissible only for pursuing full time regular courses by ISC / CBSE / MCI / AICTE / UGC / Association of India Universities / State Education Boards / State Government / Central Government.

2. Students pursuing four years Engineering / MBBS courses and Two years Masters course in Business Administration and M.Sc in Geology / Geophysics are eligible.

3. Applicants must have minimum 60 percent marks in Intermediate for Engineering and MBBS disciplines. Similarly first class marks are necessary in Graduation for PG courses like Geology / Geophysics / MBA.

The completed application form in the prescribed format (available on website : http://www.ongcindia.com) along with relevant documents should reach the concerned address.
