The new year 2013 comes with a great news for the unemployed youth of Andhra Pradesh. The State Police Recruitment Board (APSPRB), Hyderabad has come out with a notification for the posts of Police Constables in all the districts of the state. The available vacancies are 6071. These include posts in the categories of Civil, AR (Armed Reserve), APSP (AP Special Police), Fire Safety and other departments. About 3000 posts are available for women candidates. The candidates can download application forms and vacancy particulars from the official website of the board at www.apstatepolice.org.
Police Constables : 6071 posts (Civil: 2113, AR – Men: 921; APSP – Men: 72; SPF- Men: 8; Firemen: 114 posts; Civil – Women – 2749 posts; and Women – AR: 94)
Qualification: Candidates should have passed in 10+2 / Intermediate Examination. SC and ST category candidates should have qualified in 10th Class / SSC. All the candidates require to satisfy the physical standards (height, weight and chest) as prescribed by the AP State Police Recruitment Board.
There will be various stages in the selection process. These may include running competition, physical efficiency events like long jump, high jump, shotput, written examination and medical examination.
The receipt of application will start from 21st January 2013.
Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 20th February 2013.
