Dual Degrees are latest courses in Pharma education. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh is offering M.Phama Dual Degree. As BHU is a conventional university, candidates should check status of approvals for this course. Those interested in this course can opt for Drug Design as a thrust area. Drug design through insilico (using computational models) approach is highly potential area where pharma students can take lead along with traditional pharmacy. Due to resistance problem many parasites/ pathogens are not responding to available drugs, hence development of new drug is a continuous phenomenon.
