Empower – The Hindu Mock Tests for JEE Main and NEET Exams

The Hindu Group has launched a mock test series portal Empower for the benefit of IIT JEE (Main) and NEET aspirants. The mock tests are useful for the self assessment of the candidates and plan the preparation accordingly. The All India Mock Test Series and schedules are as follows:

JEE Main Mock Test 1:

Marks: 360 Marks

Interested candidates can register online for the Empower Mock Test Series of The Hindu group. Registration charges are Rs.1000. You can avail 2 mock tests with a single registration. JEE Mains and Advanced 2019 Online Exam Dates Announced

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) dates for 2019 have been released by the central authorities. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE Main exam twice in a year, as per the decision of the MHRD, Government of India. JEE Advanced will be conducted by IITs. Detailed schedules for the first phase of the exam in 2019 have come out.

JEE (Main) in January 2019:

Application process: 01 September 2018 to 30 September 2018
Dates of examination: Between 06 January 2019 to 20 January 2019
Declaration of results: First week of Feb 2019

JEE Advanced in April 2019:

Application process: Second week of Feb 2019
Dates of examination: Between 07 April 2019 to 21 April 2019
Declaration of results: First week of May 2019

Qualifications:

Both the tests will be conducted online. There would not be any change in the syllabus for the examination, question formats, language and fees.

Candidates applying for JEE Main must have appeared and qualified in class 12th examination in 2016 or 2017 or should appear in the class 12 examination in 2018. JEE Main exam is also considered for shortlisting the candidates for JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Main Examination Scheme and Pattern:

Paper 1 (BE/B. Tech): It will be in online / offline modes (pen and paper and computer based exams)
Paper 2 (B. Arch/B. Planning): Only pen and paper mode exam.
