When will AP Grama / Ward Sachivalayam exams be conducted? This is the question being posed by lakhs of candidates from Andhra Pradesh. The online application date for thousands of vacancies in various posts has already expired in March 2020 but the the exam dates are not yet confirmed. As per the original schedule, schedule for Sachivalayam exams was in April 2020.
But due to corona outbreak, Grama sachivalayam and ward sachivalayam exams in AP are postponed indifinitely. Several academic examinations such as 10th class, EAMCET, EDCET, ECET and other CETs also postponed. In this situation, it is difficult for the AP Government to finalise the exam schedules.
Sachivalayam exam dates also depends on various factors. First and foremost is the wipe out of Corona. The corona cases are on rise exponentially and it would take months to bring back normalcy in the state. As on 25th April, more than 1000 corona cases are recorded and about 30 people died of this deadly virus.
In all probability, Government of AP is likely to conduct Grama Sachivalayam / Ward sachivalayam exams in June or July 2020. Academic exams like 10th / SSC exams, and entrance tests will be the top priority as the students may loss academic year. Sachivalayam exams are likely to be held after these exams.
