CSIR – UGC NET June 2015 – National Eligibility Test

The notification for Joint CSIR-UGC Test for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship has been released and the examination will be conducted on 21st June, 2015.

Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in BS 4 years program/ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/ M.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 55 percent marks.

Candidates with B.Sc. (Hons) or those enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with minimum 55 percent marks are also eligible. There will be no age limit for lectureship.

Interested candidates may apply online only through CSIR, HRDG website. Date of closing of online applications is 12 March 2015. The examination will be held on 21 June 2015 in various subjects of Science, Engineering etc.

CSIR – UGC Test Syllabus and Scheme of the Examination 2015

Joint CSIR-UGC Test is offered by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June, 2015 session. Following are details of syllabus for test and scheme of the test.

Scheme of the test : It is a single paper MCQ based test to be held on 21st June, 2015 in the following subjects given below. The total marks for 200. Duration of test is 3 hours (Morning session from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and Afternoon session from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm).

Subjects for test : Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
