Best Specialisation in Biotechnology

I have completed B.Sc. (BZC). I would like to pursue PG in Bio-tech / Agri Bio-tech/ Environmental Science. Please advice me which subject is better among these in terms of jobs, and where to study?
– M. Rameesha, Delhi

All the subjects are having their own importance. As you have not studied agricultural science in your degree, it is tough to enter in that field now. Environment science is again a narrow discipline so you can opt for bio tech in general.

You can choose the entrance tests for JNU to get admission in any one of the Universities comes under it or in the similar Universities you can try individually. You can follow the link for more details http://www.jnu.ac.in . From Job point of view Agri Biotech is the first one followed by Biotech and Environmental sciences.

Integrated M.Sc Physics Courses after Degree

I am studying degree (maths, physics, computer science). I am interested in physics. After degree which course is best for my future? I know about MSC. Is there any other course like integrated courses?
– Yugandar, Bangalore.

There are integrated PhD courses in IISC Bangalore and some other institutes. Selection is through JEST or other national level tests. If you are interested in Astro Physics, you can see in IUCAA (http://www.iucaa.ernet.in/Home.html) of PUNE also.

In the recent times very few are going for pure sciences like Physics, chemistry and maths. Take Physics as your main subject and proceed till post doc position, then you will be well placed in top organizations of both academic and R and D institutes.
