MaRRS Spelling Bee Contest Model Questions for Word Application – Part 1

MaRRS Spelling Bee International Championship is a contest held for the school children to test the spelling abilities at various levels. The Spelling Bee contest will be conducted across the country from Class I to Class XII. There are various rounds in the contest. Important among these is the Word Application round. In this round, there will be a sentence with a blank space and candidates have to identify the correct word to be filled in the blank space from the given two words. CCI – Competition Commission of India Essay Competition 2012

Competition Commission of India (CCI) is conducting National Level Essay Competition 2012 for School, College and University level students. The competitions will be in two categories as mentioned below. Students of Class 11th and 12th, Under Graduate students and students pursuing PG / Ph.D. including PG Diplomas / M.Phil / CA / CWA/ CS/ MBA are eligible for respective categories. Following are topics for competition and application procedure:

1) Category A: Topic is ‘Benefits of fair Competition in markets OR Role of CCI in promoting and sustaining competition. Students of Class 11th and 12th can participate.

2) Category B and C: Competition: A potent tool for Economic Development and Socio – Economic Welfare OR Competition in markets promotes economic efficiency. Under Graduate students can participate in Category B and students pursuing PG / Ph.D. including PG Diplomas / M.Phil / CA / CWA/ CS/ MBA can participate in Category C competition.

There will be attractive cash prizes for winners. Participants can submit entries by email to cci.essay@gmail.com. Last date for the receipt of entries is 30th June 2012.
