University of Allahabad shall conduct and Admission Test on 14th August 2011 for short listing the candidates for the above mentioned course. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have graduation with minimum of 45 percent marks and should have passed B.Ed or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 55 percent marks. All the courses should have finished in regular mode only. A relaxation of 5 percent in qualifying marks will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.

Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata is inviting applications for admission to full time course of three years duration leading to a Post -Graduate Diploma in Cinema. Specializations offered are Direction and Screenplay, Cinematography, Audiography and Editing. The courses are offered for the session 2011-2012 to 2013-2014. Following are details of courses, specializations and application procedure:

Course Structure: First year of the course will be an Integrated Course of 42 weeks duration. This is common for all students. Specialization Programmes will be offered in 2nd and 3rd year with a total of 84 weeks duration. Course will be conducted through classroom lectures, practical / structured exercises, film screenings, interactions with professionals and workshops. Specializations offered in the program are

1. Direction and Screenplay
2. Cinematography
3. Audiography
4. Editing

Maximum 40 students per batch will be selected per each specialisation. SRFTI will conduct an All India Level Entrance Examination for short listing the candidates.
