Manipal University M.Sc Tech Admissions 2013-14

Manipal University, Manipal has announced notification for admission into MSc Tech (Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, IT Management, Embedded and Wireless Technology) for academic year 2013. The application fee is Rs. 500. It should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of ‘Manipal University and payable at Manipal / Udupi which should be enclosed along with application form only.

Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate in B.E / B.Tech in any branch of Electronics and Communication / Information Science / Telecommunication / Electrical and Electronics / Computer Science / Biomedical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Medical Electronics.

Prescribed application forms can be downloaded from website. Downloaded filled in application form along with self attested copies of all relevant certificates and fee DD should be sent to Admissions Office, Manipal University, Manipal – 576104. Last date for the receipt of completed application form is 15th December, 2012. Class will be started from 14th January, 2013. PSG Institute Ph.D Research Fellowships 2013-14

PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS), Coimbatore is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the award of PSGIAS Research Fellowships leading to Ph.D. There are 6 posts to work at Nanotech Research Facility. Duration of Programme is three years. An amount of fellowship is Rs. 10000 per moth. Eligible candidate will be called for Interview at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies.

Qualification : Applicants should have M.Phil / M.Sc. in any discipline of Chemistry / Material Science / Polymer Science / Physics or M.Tech in any branch of Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Nanoscience and Technology / Textile Chemistry with minimum first class marks in aggregate. Applicants must have basic knowledge in Nanoscience. Candidate with NET / GATE score is preferable.
