ICICI Bank – NIIT University MBA Admissions

ICICI Bank and NIIT University (NU) are jointly offering MBA (Finance and Banking) programme for the benefit of Chartered Accountants, Engineers and Graduates of any discipline. The corporate companies joining hands with academic and training institutions is a recent phenomenon and gaining importance as more and more companies are coming up with tailor made innovative programmes to suit the requirements of the industry. This is a Business Leadership Programme offered in the important domains of Project Finance, Corporate Banking, Risk Management and Banking Technology. Following are details of the programme, eligibility and application procedure:

This is a two year programme. The main purpose of the programme is to create a pool of talent as middle management level. Applicants should have minimum 60 percent marks in Graduation of any discipline and also at 12th and 10th Classes. Candidates should have minimum 3 years of relevant work experience. Age should be below 30 years as on 15th April 2012. This is a two year full time residential programme and comprehensive with focus on advanced areas of finance and banking in the upcoming domains of Corporate Banking, Risk Management and Information Technology.

Those selected for the programme will get hands – on experience through internship at ICICI Bank. They will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 10000 on campus and Rs. 50000 during internship under earn while you learn scheme. All the admitted candidates will get a placement on successful completion of the programme. Candidates will be placed at middle management levels at ICICI Bank. The programme will commence from April 2012 and you may have to apply online through Bank’s website. Selection Process: The selection process for ICICI and NIIT MBA programme consists of written test, group discussions and interviews. The Written test will be conducted by ICICI Bank in coordination with NIIT University. Applicants will be short listed on the merit in qualifying examination for further rounds. Entrance test basically tests the aptitude of the applicants through questions on verbal ability, numerical ability and logical reasoning. Those qualified in entrance exam will be short listed for group discussion. There will be a Psychometric Profiling at this stage of selection. Candidates have to complete this stage before they appear for the interview. The final stage is personal interview.

GITAM University GAT – Engineering Fee Structure, Counseling and Programmes

Gitam University is a reputed private university in the country with campuses at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Eligibility for B.Tech Programmes: Applicants should have passed in 10+2 or 12th examination with minimum 60 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 1st Class in single attempt. For B.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates should have secured minimum 60 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in single attempt. Candidate’s rank in GAT (UGT) 2012 will be considered for shortlisting the eligible candidates. For B.Arch. program, candidates should qualify NATA exam.

Application Procedure: Candidates can apply in the following methods. You can apply online or applications are available at designated branches of Union Bank of India and Indian Bank. Application forms can be obtained from the Director, Admissions also by sending a request for the same on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address along with a DD for Rs. 1,100/- (Rs. 700/- for female candidates) drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam. Completed applications should reach Director-Admissions, GITAM University, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam – 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, India on or before 14th March 2012 (For the academic year 2012-13.

Gitam GAT Results and Counseling:

Gitam GAT results will be displayed on the official website of the university at www.gitam.edu. The eligible rank holders qualified in GAT are required to attend Online Counseling along with Call Letter by downloading from university website. Online counseling will be held at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Tirupati. For admission to M.Tech, counseling will be held at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam centers only.
