The Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to follow old pattern for question paper for the SSC public examinations to be held in March 2015. The Government has informed that the new syllabus will be followed for teachng and assessment but the scheme and pattern of public exams will be in the old pattern that is being followed till the date.
Following is the Mathematics model question paper released by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The paper is prepared based on the new syllabus and weightage as mentioned for various sections.
The Mathematics paper will have weightage to academic standards as mentioned below:
Problem solving: 40 percent weightage: 10 marks
Reasoning and Proof: 20 percent weightage : 5 marks
Communication: 12 percent weightage : 3 marks
Connections: 16 percent weightage : 4 marks
Representation and Visualisation: 12 percent weightage : 3 marks
Following are details of weightage to content in Mathematics:
Real Numbers: 48 percent – 12 marks
Sets: 20 percent – 5 marks
Polynomials: 32 percent – 8 marks
