IISER Mohali, the premier research institute for basic sciences has issued admission notification to the Integrated MS – PhD Program August 2017. The Integrated MS-PhD Program is offered in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for the session beginning in August 2017.

The programme involves course work as well as research work. Successful completion of the program will lead to the award of MS degree and a PhD degree.

Eligibility Requirements: The applicant should have a Bachelors degree in Science and related areas with a good academic record (at least 60 percent aggregate or at least 6.0 on a scale of 10).

Additional Qualifications:

Applicants who have obtained one of the following national level qualifying examinations are advised to mention the same in their application form:

1) Rank in JEST examination for Physics
2) NBHM Masters or PhD scholarship for Mathematics
3) DST – INSPIRE fellowship or KVPY scholarship
4) Rank in IIT – JAM for the chosen specialization

School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University is inviting applications for admission into B.Ed Programme for the academic year 2017-19. The program is approved by Distance Education Bureau and NCTE Bangalore.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be serving teachers in recognised schools of two years of teaching experience. They need UG or PG in any one of the subjects Tamil, English, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science. Candidates must possess two years diploma in Teacher Education.
