IGIDR M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions 2013-14

Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) has announced notification for admission into M.Sc, M.Phil an Ph.D programme for the academic session 2013-14. The selection process will consist of written test to be held on 28th April, 2013 and personal interview for those qualified in written exam.

M.Sc programme is offered in the discipline of Economics.
Eligibility : Graduation in Economics / Physics / Mathematics or B.E. / B.Tech.
Duration of programme : 2 years.

M.Phil / Ph.D programmes are offered in the discipline of Development Studies.
Eligibility : Post Graduation in Economics / M.Stat. / M.Sc in Physics / Mathematics / Environmental Science / Operations Research / MBA / M.Tech / ME / BE / B.Tech.
Duration programme : Two years for M.Phil and five years for Ph.D.

How to apply : Candidates are required to apply online through webiste : www.igidr.ac.in or send their application along with all relevant enclosures and fee DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favor of IGIDR and payable at Mumbai should reach the Students Office, IGIDR, Gen. A.K. Vaidya Marg, Santosh Nager, Goregaon (East), Mumbai – 400 065. Last date for the submission of application form is 22nd March, 2013.

JEE Main Practice Question Papers with Answers

JEE Main 2013 is the new entrance examination for admission into Engineering courses in IITs, NITs, and several other reputed technical institutions. Hence candidates need proper understanding of the questions being asked in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

Here we are giving JEE Main model question papers for the practice. Two question papers are given in the file attached at the end of this post. Key for both the papers is also provided.

(Q. Nos. 1-8): Have only one correct option. You will be awarded 3 marks for correct answer and -1 mark (minus one mark) for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 9-12): Have one or more than one correct option. You will be awarded 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark (minus one mark)
for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 13-18): These Questions are comprehension type, with only one correct option. You will be awarded 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for wrong answer.
(Q. Nos. 19 – 20): These Questions in column-1 are to be matched with the answers in the column- 2. These may have one or more correct
options. You will be awarded 8 marks for correct answer. There is no negative marking.
