The University of Madras (www.unom.ac.in), Tamilnadu is offering M.Sc.,(Geoinformatics) Degree course under Private Study (Semester) for the academic year 2011-2012. The course is offered by Department of Geography of the University of Madras. Duration of the programme is two years. The course is designed to provide a sound knowledge in the field of Geo-spatial technology for effective use of Geo-informatics. Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in BA / BSc Degree Examination with Geography / Geology / Computer Science / Physics/ Environmental Sciences / Computer Applications/ Agriculture/ Information Technology/ Remote Sensing as the main subject of study. Candidates with BE Civil Engineering or any Information Technology related fields are also eligible. Candidates from other disciplined also can apply if they have good interest and aptitude in a relevant field. Medium of instruction is English.
Course fee is Rs.50, 000/- (Fifty thousand only) for total duration of two years.
