engineering admissions The Government of India is mulling to conduct a national level entrance test for admission into engineering courses as like NEET for medical admissions. The AICTE has almost decided to conduct a national level entrance test for engineering admissions from the year 2018-19.

Presently, aspirants of engineering courses have to appear for state level entrance tests along with JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Several private colleges and deemed universities have been conducting their own entrance exams.

The AICTE has already passed a resolution last year to conduct national level common entrance test for engineering admissions.
