The specializations available in the course are Brand Management, Media Management and Account Planning and Management. Candidates will take a certified module in ‘Integrated Marketing Communication’ in NTU, Singapore as part of the curriculum.
Eligibility Requirements: Eligibility for admission in JICM is any bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Those appearing for final year exams also can apply.
Selection to PGDM of JICM is based on an entrance exam called Acumen. This is a two phase entrance exam procedure. These are Written Test, oral presentation and personal interview. Written Test consist of questions on English level, Analytical skill, Knowledge of communication industry and Basic Statistics. Written test will be conducted at Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur and Bhopal. Those short listed will be called for oral presentation and interviews at JICM, Bhopal. Students who have appeared for entrance tests like CAT / XAT / MAT and have secured 70 / 75 / 90 percentile respectively will be called directly for oral presentation and interview phase.
Course fee for PGDM Marketing Communication Management 2011-13 is Rs. 6,20,000 and Caution deposit is Rs. 40000. JICM has very active placement cell and has record of good placement.
