Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) has issued GATE 2013 notification. This is a prestigious examination for admission to M.Tech / ME programmes in IITs, NITs and various other universities and colleges for the academic year 2013-14. New in GATE 2013: There is no application fee for girl students from GATE 2013. Online examination will be held for AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CY, GG, MA, MN, MT, PH, TF, XE and XL papers. Offline examination will be conducted for CS, EC, EE, IN, ME and PI papers. Those qualified in GATE 2013 will be eligible for M.Tech / ME and Doctoral programmes with scholarship by MHRD, Govt. of India. GATE score will be valid for two years. Eligibility: Applicants should have Bachelors degree in Engineering / Architecture in the concerned branch / specialisation. Master degree holders in Science / Statistics / Maths / Computer Applications are also eligible. Those in 2nd / higher year of 5 year Integrated Masters in Engineering OR fourth / higher year of 5 year integrated Masters / Dual Degree can apply. Being aware of important topics will help you get good score in GATE 2014.
