Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), New Delhi has announced notification for admission into PG Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering for academic year 2012-13. This a modular type course and duration of the course is 52 weeks (two semesters). There are 60 seats in this course offered at CBIP.
Eligibility: Applicants should have B.Tech / B.E or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates who have appeared for final year examinations can also apply. The selection of the candidates for the course will be based on the marks in their previous examinations, GATE and PGDC – CET 2012 qualification. Age : Below 27 years.
Prescribed application form should be downloaded from website of CBIP www.cbip.org . Filled in forms along with DD of Rs. 700/- in favour of CBIP payable at New Delhi, two photographs, attested copies of certificates for a proof of age and qualifications should be sent to Secretary, Central Board of Irrigation and Power, Malcha Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021.
