2. Rice University: You need not be anxious about funds to support your education at Rice University. Rice University offers fellowships and research assistantships to all students admitted and who do not receive any other assistance from any sources. Varied faculty and exceptional facilities offer good learning experience in different disciplines such as biochemistry, molecular and cell biology and biophysics.
3. Stony Brook University, State University of New York: Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Structural Biology is an inter-departmental programme. There are 30 faculty members available for the subject. The institute’s proximity to Brookhaven National Laboratory and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is an added advantage. The university provides excellent research opportunities with an interface of biochemistry and structural biology.

Wesleyan University: Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in the university emphasizes on the areas of gene expression, chromosomal proteins, protein secretion, phosphorus chemistry, DNA replication, protein–nucleic acid interactions, NMR and Raman spectroscopy, and computer modeling.
