Jobs are available for professionals of this stream in biomedical database development, biomedical designing, biomedical photonics, biomedical software development, biomechanics, medical imaging, medical electronics and other related fields. Similar jobs are also available in all countries.
The future prospect is quite good for this discipline due to its need and efficient application in emergency. Several Institutes in India is offering courses in biomedical engineering but student should opt for those institutes which are providing excellent hands-on on various aspects of the subject as this subject is entirely application oriented where high skill and perfect training leads to the success and precision in understanding is another issue which should be acquired with sincerity as most of the medical diagnosis depends on the accuracy and precision of biomedical instrument. Important Note: In India corporate hospital culture is increasing day by day and people are more concerned about it for quality treatment. It is difficult to recruit one biomedical engineer to take care of bio-medical instruments like MRI. CT Scan, etc., hence a group containing like two or three can have a biomedical engineer for maintenance of above instruments and pay package is very attractive. Hence this field is another good and lucrative option.
