Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has announced notification for admission to B. Pharm Course through Lateral Entry scheme for the year 2011-12. Admission to B.Pharm course in Government and private self financing colleges in Kerala will be conducted through this examination. The seat allotment will be done by Director of Medical Education (DME) based on the ranks secured in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:
Qualification: Applicants should have Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 55 percent marks. They should have passed in the diploma examination conducted by the State Board of D Pharm Examinations or its equivalent. SC / ST Candidates need minimum pass marks in the second year D Pharm examination. There is no upper age limit.
Selection of candidates for BPharm (Lateral Entry) course 2011-12 will be made on the basis of an Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, (CEE) at Thiruvananthapuram on 11the December 2011. The examination will consist of only one paper with a duration of two hours. The question paper will have 100 objective type multiple choice questions.
Interested candidates can obtain application forms from www.cee-kerala.org. There are separate application forms for general candidates and SC/ST candidates. Completed application forms along with a Demand Draft for Rs.300/- for General candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram and other relevant documents should be sent to ‘Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001′.
