You have to appear for Entrance Test and Interview to be conducted by University of Hyderabad for admission to Ph.D. programme in Economics. University of Hyderabad has excellent Economics department with reputed faculty and quality of teaching. HCU will issue notification during March -April 2012 for Ph.D. Admissions. The question paper will be in descriptive mode. You can get model or previous question papers from the library of University of Hyderabad. All the best!

There will objective multiple choice entrance examination for Statistics. HCU will announce admission notification during March – April every year. You have to apply in response to that notification Entrance exam will be conducted during June 2012.

Dear Chandu, sorry to say that you are not eligible for Ph.D. in any discipline or subject without Masters Degree. Work experience is considered equivalent to Masters Degree. That may be considered and more useful when you are apply for jobs.
