VIT-Wuhan University Joint Programmes in IT and Business

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University and Wuhan University of Chennai have joined hands to offer joint programmes on IT and Business. The two leading technical universities are already working together on various education related programmes.

VIT and Wuhan University together have student exchange programmes along with faculty and research programmes.According to the latest MoU, both the Universities will offer joint programmes in Information Technology and Business.

VIT and ARAI to offer Research in Auto Engineering

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India’s reputed private university for Engineering education and Pune-based Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) have joined hands to start a doctoral degree programme. The programme is aimed at promoting world class research in automotive engineering and related disciplines.

As per the MoU between the organizations, engineering practitioners and the scholars can carry out their research work at VIT or ARAI. The location will depend on the research topic chosen by the candidate.

Candidates sponsored by industries also will be admitted to this programme. The research areas offered under this new programme are newer materials, alternate energy sources, power train, new manufacturing techniques, engine, emission control and Mechatronics.

The candidates admitted into doctoral programme would be jointly guided by the faculty at VIT University and senior Engineers of ARAI. Both the institutes are already offering joint B.Tech. and M.Tech programmes in Automotive Engineering.
