NISER – University of Mumbai Scholarships for M.Sc Courses 2015

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Energy Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai are offering Scholarships – 2015 for candidates who are pursuing of 5 year Integrated M.Sc. Programmes for the academic year 2015-16.

Scholarships for Masters Degree programmes in Basic Sciences like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics through The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST. Applicants must have passed in Intermediate and have a score of NEST – 2015 test. Candidates must be born on or after 15th July, 1995.

The amount of scholarship is Rs. 5,000 per month and Rs.20,000 per year for 5 year Integrated M.Sc. Programme students at NISER and CBS by INSPIRE, Govt. of India.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.nestexam.in. Closing date for submission of application form is 7th march, 2015. Date of examination is 30th May, 2015.

University of Mumbai Distance Learning Admissions 2014-15

Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), University of Mumbai in Maharashtra has announced admission notification for the academic year 2014-15. The University has introduced online admissions for IDOL courses. Following are details of programmes and application process:

1) BA: History, Politics, Sociology, Economics, Education, Psychology, Commerce, Rural Development, Marathi, Hindi and English.

2) B.Com Accounts / Management
3) B.Sc Information Technology / Computer Science / Nautical Technology.
4) MA : Politics, History, Sociology, Economics, Gujarati, English, Education, Mathematics,.
5) M.Sc. Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics.
6) MCA / PGDFM (Financial Management) / PGDORM (Operations Research for Management)

Interested candidates can apply online only through www.idol.mahaonline.gov.in . Last date for the submission of applications is 31st July without late fee and 16th August 2014 with a late fee of Rs. 150.
