HCU Entrance Exams University of Hyderabad, also known as Hyderabad Central University (HCU) at Hyderabad has issued notification for admission into various PG, M.Phil, Ph.D, MCA and management programmes for the academic year 2015-16. HCU is a top rung university in the country and known for high end research activity in various disciplines. Following are details of courses, subjects and application procedure:

1) IMA and IMSc Courses (5 Year Integrated Courses): These are 10 semester courses offered for 10+2 passed candidates. The programmes are offered in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.

2) PG Courses in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Art History, Communication, Business Administration in Health Care and Hospital Management, Health Psychology.

3) MCA, MBA, Advanced PG Diploma, PG Diploma courses
4) M.Tech: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Integrated Circuit Technology, Bioinformatics.

5) M.Phil Courses: Humanities and Social Sciences
6) Ph.D: Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
7) Integrated M.Phil / Ph.D in Cognitive Sciences
8) Integrated M.Sc/ Ph.D. in Biotechnology
9) Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech in Computer Science

1) Download of prospectus and online application submission: 8 December 2014 to 9th January 2015
2) Last date for the submission of online applications: 9 January 2015
3) Download of hall tickets for entrance exams: 28 January 2015 onwards
4) Entrance Exams: Between 8 February 2015 to 14 February 2015.

University of Hyderabad has advanced its admission schedule from the academic year 2013-14. The University has announced that the entrance examinations for the next academic session will be held in February 2013 instead of May – June 2013. Following are the important dates for HCU Admissions for the year 2013-14, as announced by its Vice Chancellor, Ramakrishna Ramaswami.

1) Commencement of sale of applications: 21st December 2012
2) Last date for the sale and submission of filled in applications: 21st January 2013
3) Schedule of Entrance exams: 21- 26 February 2013
4) Download of hall tickets: Up to 14th February 2013

New Courses: The Hyderabad Central University is introducing Master of Public Health (MPH) and 5 Year Integrated Course from the academic year 2013-14.

The applications forms can be downloaded from the websites of the university at www.uohyd.ac.in or www.uohyd.ernet.in . Model papers and previous question papers of the University may also available on the website.
