CIFNET Training Programme in Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades 2014

Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET) at Kochi / Chennai / Visakhapatnam is offering career training programme in Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades.

Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades – Eligibility : Must have passed in 10th Standard / SSLC or its equivalent.
Duration of training : 24 months.
Age: Between 16 to 20 years as on 1st August, 2014.

The prescribed application forms can be had from Director, CIFNET, Fine Arts Avenue, Kochi or Deputy Director, CIFNET Unit, 59, S.N. Street, Royapuram, Chennai or Deputy Director, CIFNET Unit, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam by sending of DD for Rs 300 drawn in favour of Sr.Administrative Officer, CIFNET payable at Kochi.

IMU – MERI Mumbai PGDME Admissions 2014

Indian Maritime University (IMU), Maritine Engineering and Research Institute (MERI), Mumbai has announced notification for admissions into Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering (PGDME) for the academic year 2014.

IMU Mumbai campus is conducting one year pre-sea training programme for Graduates in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture.

Applicants must have Graduation in Mechanical / Marine Engineering. Duration of programme is one year. There are 60 seats in total. These vacant seats will be filled up through direct admission process.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents should reach the concerned address given in the notification. Last date for the submission of application form is 17th January, 2014. List of selected candidates will be hosted on website on 21st January, 2014 for interview.
