TISS Integrated BA in Social Sciences Admissions 2012-13

The TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) has launched a new coures in Social Sciences. The TISS announced B.A. programme in Social Sciences from the academic year 2012 – 2013. This is a three year UG liberal arts programme with focus on humanistic aspects of Social Sciences integrated with Science. After the completion of this programme, candidates can continue in MA in a range of disciplinary and Interdisciplinary areas of Social Sciences (2015-17). Hence this is a 5 year Integrated Course.

Candidates will have an option to Graduate with BA from TISS and move away for Masters OR they can join in Masters Programme in the same campus of TISS. Applicants should have completed 10+2 and those awaiting for second year results also can apply. The programmes is offered at TISS Hyderabad, TISS Guwahati and TISS Tuljapur campuses.

Candidates those obtained Bachelors from TISS need not appear for Masters Entrance Test and they can directly join in Masters Programme from 2015-16. Interested candidates can download application forms from the website www.BA-socialsciences.tiss.edu . Last date for the submission of completed applications along with relevant copies of certificates in 30th June 2012. There will be an online entrance examination on 15th July 2012. TISS Admission Notification for MA, MLiSc Programs 2012-13

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced notification for admission to Inter-disciplinary Master’s Programmes for the year 2012-14. TISS has campuses at Mumbai, Guwahati, Tuljapur and Hyderabad. The programmes on offer are MA Rural Development and Governance, MA Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development, MA Social Work and Master of Library and Information Science. TISS is a Deemed University. Following are details of eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have Bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum of 3 years duration in 10+2+3 pattern. TISS is also providing campus placements for meritorious candidates.
