SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE), an institute of excellence promoted by Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies has announced notification for the award and admission to Ph.D Fellowships Programme for the academic year 2012-13. SSNCE is one of the best and reputed technical education institute in the country with highly qualified faculty, good infrastructure and placements. Engineering and Science post Graduates can avail this opportunity. Fellowships are offered for full time candidates only. The institute is accredited by NBA and affiliated to Anna University. SSNCE is offering Ph.D. programmes in the following departments: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry. Qualification : Applicants should have ME / M.Tech and M.Sc / M.Phil with excellent academic record. Subject wise eligibility requirements are available on www.annauniv.edu or www.tndte.gov.in .

Number of Fellowships are 25. Selected candidates will get a fellowship of Rs. 17000 for Engineering, Rs. 15000 for Science subjects per month. They will also be eligible for Rs. 25000 per annum as a contingency. Duration of the fellowship is 3 years. Interested candidates can download application forms from www.ssn.edu.in . Last date for the receipt of completed application is 30th April 2012.

Filled in applications should be enclosed with the copies of all academic examinations from Class X to PG, , TANCET / GATE Score Mark Sheet, TC, Proof for date of birth and Community Certificate if applicable. Candidates should produce original certificates at the time of interview and admission. You should also send a DD for Rs. 300 drawn in favor of The Principal, SSN College of Engineering, payable at Chennai and enclose it to the application.
