University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi is offering Merit Scholarships for University Rank Holders for admission into post-graduate degree courses for the academic year 2012 – 14. Under this scheme, Merit Scholarships will be given for University Rank Holders in various subjects for supporting post graduate education.
Eligibility: Applicants admitted in post-graduate first year regular non-professional degree course in the year 2012-13 are eligible. They should be pursuing the course in any recognized college / university. Candidates should have secured 1st and 2nd positions at the Under Graduation level. Selection of the candidates for the scholarships will be through an Expert Committee.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : www.ugc.ac.in/urh. Opening date for the submission of online applications is 3r September, 2012.
